Kroelling's house about 1/2 mile west of Avon. Metcalf Gulch is in the background. Highway 6 is in the foreground. Bridge over the Eagle River is in right foreground. Note belfry on house. The house and all the outbuildings were replaced by the Sunridge Condominiums.

A train approaching the Pine St. bridge in Red Cliff. At far left is the house of Canuto Velasquez. On the far right hillside is a house built by Doug Byren (Jan. 16, 2954--Nov. 14, 1989). The Byren house looks down on Water Street at center.

The boardwalk all along Water Street, Red Cliff, Colorado, with R. E. Tippett's house in the midground (built in 1915). The town marshall shoveled the boardwalk when it snowed.
