The view is to the North. Girard crosses the center of the photo and Cherokee is on the far right. The building in the center has been demolished and is now a parking lot (as of 2004). The corner of the building on the left is the old City Hall and Library(located at 3400 S. Elati). This building has also been demolished. In 2004 a new building was put up in its place.

An aerial photograph taken at an altitude of 300 feet on April 1, 1928. The building in the center of the photo is the Oliner Floral Co. The address was 3600 South Elati. The land where the greenhouse stood was leased to the the city of Englewood for 20 years in 1969(?) to be used for Police and Fire.
