Mary Frances "Fannie" Evans Collins holding grandson, Ralph Bayer. Fannie Evans was three years old when she spent several days in Ft. Arnett. Red Cliff's response to the Meeker Massacre was to gather citizens in the fort, anticipating a local threat, which never materialized.

One of the old homes in what was once named Poverty Flats, but now part of Bells Camp. The James Collins family lived here and Tom Collins was born here. The Collins family relocated to Red Cliff.

Studio portrait of Larry Collins, second son of Jim and Irma Collins. Larry was graduating from Minturn High School. Jim Collins was the Minturn postmaster (Tom Collins' brother) and Irma ran a clothing store. Richard Collins was Larry's older brother.

Shared marker for: "Lottie, March 18,1865--Nov. 3,1939, and James Collins, Sept. 1, 1861 --March 1,1921," Greenwood Cemetery. Wheat is sculpted at the top of the marker and a flower is in the lower lefthand corner. A Masonic symbol is over James' name; an Eastern Star symbol is over Lottie's name.
