"Charley McCoy's Upper Place in 1930.The original log house was destroyed by fire in 1927 or 1928 and the frame house was built shortly afterwards. This picture shows some of Charley McCoy's top grade of cattle. This is the original John Cowden family homestead cabin, which was moved about a half a mile from it's original site on Bellyache. Jack Oleson reconstructed the cabin on the Diamond S ranch.

4) School house

Eagle County Historical Society volunteer and President, Kathy Heicher, stands in the refurbished Bellyache school. The school had deteriorated into a pile of logs when Jack Oleson decided to move the building back to its original location and reconstruct the building.

6) Bob Cowden

Bob Cowden, whose parents homesteaded on Bellyache, assisted with the tour of the Diamond S historical sites. The original Cowden cabin was rebuilt by Jack Oleson in 2009.
