North School was build in the summer of 1903 after Englewood's incorporation. It was built on the northeast comer of S. Cherokee and West Cornell. There were 35 pupils when it opened. A small addition was built in the back in 1904. In 1905 the west half of the building was built. A brick building was built at 3000 S Bannock in 1905, North Englewood Elementary School. The corner of the building on the left is the old City Hall and Library(located at 3400 S. Elati). This building has also been demolished. In 2004 a new building was put up in its place.
