Broadway in Eagle. The building on the right was built by the First National Bank of Eagle County. The two story half of the building was occupied by general merchandise stores (F. Hugus and Co.; later, the Lewis store); the one story side by the bank. The line of wagons and carriages may be a parade. Same as 1991.001.046 Photo only scanned once into Past Perfect. The Red Cliff Union High School marching band (from the rear) at the Red Cliff Bridge dedication. The dedication was held at noon on Sunday, August 3, 1941. Governor Ralph L. Carr and other officials attended. The bridge and six miles of new highway built over Battle Mountain cost a total of $636,405. The bridge is 470 ft. long, 209 ft. high; the roadbed is 30 ft. wide and has two 18-inch curbs. It is listed on the Historic Bridge Inventory, Colorado...
