Ernest Cooper, formerly of Eagle County, died in a veterans hospital in Amarillo, TX June 30 following a short illness. Mr. Cooper was 55 years of age. He was born December 17, 1898 near Cheyenne, OK. In 1905 he moved with his parents to Kenton, OK where he grew to manhood. He later moved to State Bridge in Eagle County from where he entered the Army during World War II. Funeral services were held in Kenton, OK.
