Tracy Lynelle Martino, 47, Grand Junction, died May 23, 2013,
at her home.
Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m. June 15 at New Elmwood Cemetery
in Fruita.
Ms. Martino was a property manager.
She is survived by one son, Jackson E. of Grand Junction; her
father, Kenneth of Portland, Ore.; her mother, Jude P. DeGagne of
Fruita; and one sister, Nadara Y. Hopper of Salem, Ore.

Our Tracy passed away unexpectedly
at her Grand Junction
home on May 23.
She was born in Eugene, Oregon,
the second daughter to
Kenneth L. Martino and Jude P.
(Thomas) Martino. Her parents
divorced and Tracy spent he r
childhood between Colorado and
O r e g o n , g r a d u a t i n g f r o m
Portland’s Grant High in 1983.
In 1986 she married Danny
Sims. They later divorced.
For many years, Tracy worked
as a Real Estate Property Manager
in Portland, then moved with
her infant son, Jackson, to Fruita,
to be near her beloved family.
Before she became disabled, she
enjoyed camping, fishing, gourmet
cooking, photography, and
flower arranging. Tracy had an infectious
giggle, a big smile, a bigger
heart of gold, and she loved her son with all her heart.
Tracy was predeceased by her grandparents, and niece, Samantha
Hopper. Survivors include her son, Jackson Edward Martino (age 6);
her father, Kenneth (Kim) Martino of Vancouver, WA, and her
mother, Jude (Edward) DeGagne of Fruita, CO. She is also survived
by her sister, Nadara (Eddie) Hopper of Salem, OR, and nephew,
Craig E. Hopper of Fruita, and numerous other relatives. She will be
missed by all who loved her.
Inurnment will take place at New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita,
CO on Saturday, June 15 at 1:30 p.m.
