Thais S. Kell, 92, Grand
Junction, died Jan. 2, 2012, at
Hospice Care Center.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday
at Martin Mortuary and at
12:15 p.m. Monday at Fort Logan
National Cemetery in Denver.
Ms. Kell was a government
secretary.
Survivors include one son,
Tom of Grand Junction; one
daughter, Jody Kell of Westminster;
four grandchildren and
nine great-grandchildren.

Thais Kell passed away quietly
at the Hospice Care Center on
January 2, 2012. She was 92 years
old.
Thais was born on March 31,
1919, in Center, CO. She spent
her childhood in the Center area
and attended Colorado University
at Boulder.
She married Nathaniel "Bud"
Kell, who passed away January 29, 2003.
Thais enjoyed golf until the age of 85, and was both a Broncos and
Rockies' fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel; and her
daughter, Sherry. She is survived by her son, Tom Kell, Grand
Junction; her daughter, Jody Kell, Denver; four granddaughters,
Leah Leassig, Cindy Avery, Kim Vinton, and Jeni Morrill; nine
great-grandchildren; as well as one niece.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 7, 2012, at
3:00 p.m. at Martin Mortuary, with Graveside services at Ft. Logan
National Cemetery, Denver, CO, on Monday January 9, 2012 at
12:15 p.m.
